I'm in love with everything French.
With regards to your heart break, I don’t think you should end the affair with Kenya. Right now it’s raining so you have to be there for her. Relationships have periods of sunshine and periods of rain and you have to be there for Kenya. She’ll be beautiful again. Right now she’s plagued by a disease which has come about by the bad forces (cancer) within her, but the clouds will clear and the sun will shine through making Kenya beautiful again.
If you are truly in love with her, this is the time to help her. Help her treat her cancer. After the war she’s going to need re-development of both mind and body, that’s where you’ll come in.
And like Sade said - May Gods kingdom come in Kenya and all other war torn countries. AMEN!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-87457738807235672992008-02-27T17:43:00.000-08:002008-02-27T17:43:00.000-08:00Dapo,I don't doubt that you've expressed the heart...Dapo,

I don't doubt that you've expressed the heart of many in this piece. My message to you is:-
***
'The course of TRUE love never did run smooth'....
(W. Shakespeare)
and that
'To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart & to sing it to them when they have forgotten'
(Warbourg)
***
Don't give up on Kenya...not now. We all make mistakes, some very very expensive, and now we have descended to our hell. Kenya will arise from the depths of this hell, a painful learning curve.
She will arise... and blossom againAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-20120512390813326972008-01-25T06:09:00.000-08:002008-01-25T06:09:00.000-08:00Dapo sweets,We need you here in Nairobi to make us...Dapo sweets,

We need you here in Nairobi to make us laugh and have some life again. As soon as I came to South Beach,it was as if I had been there before,as if we had known each other all along. The gorgeous architecture and the contrast of the pastel colors in the bold tropical vegetation overwhelmed me.Ocean drive reminded me of the ocean road of the little town next to the Italian border where I spent most of my childhood summers. It was like a deja vu experience.I was smitten and there was no going back.Today I look back on it with tenderness as one never forgets a first love.
Take care.
SandrineAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-45584338977981250512008-01-22T16:10:00.000-08:002008-01-22T16:10:00.000-08:00it's always sad to leave a loved one behind, even ...it's always sad to leave a loved one behind, even sadder is a prospective love affair that got interrupted by forces beyond both parties. I feel your pain, though in a completely different dimension. I still believe the hopes and dreams of yesteryear can be restored, but only when Africa wakes up and takes her rightful place. When Africans refuse to benefit from the exploitation of Africa and stand to protect it's wealth, beauty and integrity. Till that day arrives, I am hopeful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
