I also stumbled into him while he was in Minneapolis, Mn...

You're quite right about his calmness and gentle attitude towards life, although, back in the days, I always feared being hit by his strong fist while making some silly jokes about him.

I believe he lost his mum earlier on, and now he's gone too... Don't really have much to say because this is the last news I ever expect to get about NY.

Niyi, I thought we were all going to rule Nigeria together, but evidently, man proposes and God disposes... May your soul rest in eternal peace, and please dont stop smiling..

Kenny Kalejaiye, Minnesota.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-90856975593687159962008-07-20T04:27:00.000-07:002008-07-20T04:27:00.000-07:00How true Anon. How true.

Solomon got it right in Ecclesiastes 2:11“Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labor that I had labored to do: and behold, all was vanity and vexation of the spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.”

Perhaps the so called matters we deem important in actuality and in eventuality, mean nothing at all....

Thanks for the feedback....'in the present' :-)TPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05216446224508264843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-3040020705954779712008-07-20T04:19:00.000-07:002008-07-20T04:19:00.000-07:00Hello TP,Death always strike when we least expect ...Hello TP,
Death always strike when we least expect it, I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason, and as I can read, you truly learned, appreciated, and got to enjoy his company. From your post, Niyo was a kind of guy who would have said that he lived life to the fullest, accepting everyone.

The sad truth however is that we mourn and vow to appreciate our friends and family more, to live in the present. Alas it doesnt last, we go on with superficialities in relationships and rushing to some other important matters...always vanity...

May we learn from his life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200145942756397983.post-16277165078462856912008-07-20T03:55:00.000-07:002008-07-20T03:55:00.000-07:00Merci bien, Ijebuman.
